About Us

Hi, I'm Becky, a gardening enthusiast,  probably spending more time in the garden than is entirely sensible.

I live in the UK (though all my t-shirts are printed and shipped in the USA). Like most gardeners I know, my garden is my happy place. Whether I'm actually being productive or just pottering about moving things from one place to another and calling it a plan, there's nowhere I'd rather be.

I won't pretend every seed germinates or every transplant survives. But that's gardening, isn't it? Equal parts hope, stubbornness, and willingness to try again next year.

That's the thing about gardeners - we might not agree on everything, no dig or dig, grow your own or ornamental, wildflower meadow or neat borders. But we all understand the pull of it. The need to be outside, hands in the soil, watching something grow. That's our common ground.

Common Ground started because I wanted to make designs for people who actually get it. Real, specific, slightly muddy humour for people who know exactly what it feels like to lose four hours to "just deadheading the roses. If that sounds like you, you're in the right place.
